Ro Health is looking for a dedicated RN to join our healthcare team at correctional facilities in Amarillo and throughout West Texas!

This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Amarillo and throughout West Texas
• Schedule: Full-time
• Shift: 12s
• Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications:

• Active Texas RN license or compact license (in good standing)
• BLS Certification
• Ability to pass a strict background check
• Prior corrections experience is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments
• Monitor and document patients’ health status and respond to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
• Collaborate and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records
