LPN – Phoenix VA

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at a Veterans Home in Arizona! This position ensures a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment while overseeing and assigning duties to subordinate staff.

Details:

• 6am-6:30pm or 6pm-6:30am
• per diem/full-time needed
• rotating schedule

Qualifications:

• at least 6 months of LPN experience required but 1 year is preferred
• Ability to supervise and train subordinate staff in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with AMS or similar management systems is a plus.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring vital signs and assessing residents' conditions.
• Providing wound care and dressing changes.
• Assisting with IV therapy and catheter care (if permitted by state regulations).
• Documenting residents’ health status and reporting changes to RNs or physicians.
• Supervising CNAs and other support staff.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educating residents and families on care plans and health conditions.
• Ensuring compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
