Overview:
In-person
Mission Viejo
M-F 8am-4pm
$40-$45 per hour
ASAP
Responsibilities:
Provide Adapted Physical Education (APE) services to special education students (ranging from mild to severe cases)
Adherence to each student’s individualized educational plan (IEP)
Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Qualifications:
Valid California K-12 teaching credential with authorization in Adapted Physical Education (APE) or enrolled in an Adapted Physical Education Credential Program
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with physically disabled students
Ability to drive to different school sites each day
