Overview




Ro Health is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Class Aide to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality support to individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly those on the autism spectrum. The Behavioral Class Aide will work at a school district in the Barstow area for a mix of classroom support and 1:1. This position would begin ASAP and continue onto the next school year. This would be M-F between school hours of 8 am -3 pm. Experience working with supporting students with special needs in a classroom is preferred.

The Behavior Class Aide will work closely with clients, their families, and other professionals to implement individualized treatment plans and promote positive behavioral changes.




Duties
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify individual needs and goals.
  • Provide direct care and support to clients, focusing on enhancing their social skills, communication, and daily living activities.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies across different environments.
  • Monitor client progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising BCBA.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to special education and behavioral health.




Requirements
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of patient care practices and the ability to perform patient assessments effectively.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality in medical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
  • A background in special education or related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and strategies for supporting individuals with behavioral challenges.

Job Type: Full-time / Per Diem




Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
