Ro Health is looking for dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team at a state prison in Iowa!
This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Location: Newton, IA
Schedule: 2pm-10pm
Contract Details: 12 weeks with possibility of extension
Employment Type: Contract
Qualifications:
Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing) or multi-state license
At least 3 years of RN experience
Ability to pass a strict background check
Ability to pass a drug screen
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments
Monitor and document patients’ health status and respond to medical emergencies
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care
Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
