Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at a Youth Correctional Facility in Phoenix, Arizona! This position plays a vital role in providing essential care to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Location: Phoenix, CA
Schedule: 12 PM - 10 PM Thursday, Friday Saturday
Employment Type: Contract
Qualifications:
Active AZ LPN license (in good standing)
At least 6 months of LPN experience
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to pass a strict background check
Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages for adolescent patients
Monitor and document vital signs while assessing youth for any signs of distress or illness
Provide wound care and first aid for injuries common in a juvenile facility
Assist with chronic condition management, such as asthma, diabetes, and mental health concerns
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care until higher-level support arrives
Educate youth on health, hygiene, and wellness to promote positive habits
Collaborate with behavioral health teams to address emotional and psychological needs
Ensure infection control and hygiene standards in a communal living environment
Support youth in adjusting to medical routines in a structured facility setting
Maintain documentation and communicate health updates with RNs, facility staff, and guardians as needed
