Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our healthcare team at a California State Prison!
This position plays a vital role in providing essential mental health services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and rehabilitative environment within the facility.

Location: Vacaville, CA
Schedule: 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts
Higher Pay for Travelers: Additional compensation for those commuting 50+ miles from the facility
Employment Type: Contract
Qualifications:
Active California LPCC license (in good standing)
At least 1 year of clinical counseling experience
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to pass a strict background check
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and rehabilitative support
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to incarcerated individuals, addressing mental health concerns, substance abuse, and trauma
Conduct mental health assessments and crisis interventions as needed
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patients' needs and rehabilitation goals
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
Coordinate care with medical staff, custody staff, and mental health teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient wellness
Provide suicide prevention interventions, risk assessments, and crisis stabilization support
Educate patients on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and behavioral management
Ensure compliance with CDCR regulations, facility policies, and ethical counseling practices
