Position Overview:
Location: Ventura County, CA and surrounding areas (Flexibility is essential)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary)
Pay Rate: LVN $30-35
Start Date: IMMEDIATE
Type: In-person - Per diem openings
Responsibilities:
Provide care for students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes)
Monitor and manage immunization records in compliance with state regulations
Deliver first aid and emergency care
Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
Communicate with parents regarding health concerns and follow-up care
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
Ability to frequently bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 lbs
Qualifications:
Active CA State LVN License
BLS Certification
Current negative TB test
Reliable transportation
Trach experience preferred but not required
Pediatric experience preferred but not required
