Overview:
In-person
Locations: Perris, CA
Schedule: Temporary Full-Time M-F
Compensation: $45.00/hr
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect social work services in accordance with IEPs
Conduct mental health assessments and crisis interventions (including suicide risk assessments)
Deliver individual and group support to improve students’ social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
Partner with teachers, families, and community resources to support student success
Collaborate with IEP teams and contribute to goal-setting and educational planning
Serve as liaison to social services, probation, and local agencies
Support behavioral management strategies and help staff adapt instruction based on student needs
Travel between school sites as required
Maintain accurate documentation, including Medical Assistance billing
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, psychology, or a closely related field (Required)
Valid California Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Work Endorsement (Required)
LSW or school social work certification or MFT license (Required)
Knowledge of social work practices, mental health conditions, behavior theories, and crisis response
Strong communication and cultural competency skills
Ability to work with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
Experience developing IEP goals and participating in interdisciplinary teams
