Overview:
In-person
Boston Area, MA
Schedule: Long Term Substitute and/or Full Time
Employment depends on the needs of the district
Monday-Friday; 8:00am-3:00pm
Start and end times will vary depending on the school’s bell schedule
Compensation: $45-$65/hr
Start date: 25-26 school year
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments to determine students' needs.
Actively contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings by providing insights that help develop well-rounded and effective educational plans.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other mental health professionals to improve support strategies.
Perform classroom screenings to aid educators in designing instructional strategies that meet the diverse needs of their students.
Deliver counseling and preventive services to students individually and in small group settings as needed.
Provide crisis intervention support and serves as a member of the school's crisis response team.
Qualifications:
Licensed School Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts.
Proficiency in the principles, administration, and analysis of established standardized assessment tools.
Strong ability to compose clear, detailed, and insightful reports that include relevant educational objectives.
