Overview:
- Setting: in-person, SNF
- Schedule: Dependent on assignment
- $32.50/hour+ for qualified PTAs
- Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Provides Physical Therapy services to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in accordance with client policies and the state physical therapy act.
- Assists the Physical Therapist as needed or directed.
- Assists in the selection of Physical Therapy techniques/media and in the sequence of activities, adapts techniques/media as indicated by patient performance and following consultation with the Physical Therapist.
- Monitors patient's response to intervention and consults with Physical Therapist if modification is indicated.
- Assists in establishing and modifying patient schedules in conjunction with the Physical Therapist and other team members.
- Maintains acceptable patient care ratios as determined by the Physical 'Therapist. Provides/recommends/constructs adaptive devices or other equipment
- Adheres to client's Physical Therapy Department procedures regarding documentation of Physical Therapy services.
- Provides treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, client's department procedures and productivity standards
Qualifications:
- Relevant PTA experience
- Current state PTA license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- State and contract-specific compliance requirements
