Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Brazos County Detention Center!
This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.
Details:
Location: Bryan, TX
Schedule: 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts
Shift: 7pm-7am, PM only
Must be available on weekends and holidays
Employment Type: Contract
Qualifications:
Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing)
At least 3 years of RN experience
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to pass a strict background check
Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments
Monitor and document patients’ health status and respond to medical emergencies
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care
Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
