Position Details:
- Specialty: School Health, Pediatrics, Special Education
- Locations available include: Deer Valley/Anthem, AZ
- Positions Available: Full-time (30+hrs) - 1x1 Bus Ride & Classroom Support
- Part-time (less than 30 hours) - (M, W, F 1x1 position) Per Diem (must provide availability of at least 2x per week. Flexibility is a MUST)
- Bus ride with 1x1 student, trach experience REQUIRED
- Diabetic Management experience REQUIRED
- Shift: May vary, approximately school hours: Mon-Fri, anywhere between 7:00am-4:00pm.
- Days: Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends
- Target Start Date: ASAP
- Pay: $37-41/hr

Responsibilities may include:
- Bus ride with student
- Classroom support
- Assist in providing a safe environment for the client
- Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements
- Working 1:1 with a patient that has one or more of the following (G-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic, seizures)
- Health Office Support
- Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
- Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
- Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years nursing experience required
- Trach experience (REQUIRED)
- Active, Arizona nursing license
- Valid TB Test (within 1 year)
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (REQUIRED)
- CPR/BLS (No online courses accepted)
- Passion for excellent pediatric patient care!
