Ro Health is seeking a great School Nurse or Credentialed School Nurse to start immediately in a school nurse setting. Applicants should have a desire to work with pediatrics.
Position Details:
Locations: Elk Grove, CA

Shift: 8:30am-3:30pm
Schedule (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care utilizing school health protocols and care plans established by the school nurse or medical advisory team.
- Participates in Special Education team meetings for selected students to develop individual education programs (IEP) and 504's.
- Administer medication to the student according to board policy and district procedures.
- Manage care of the student with the assistance of parents, educators, and medical professionals, providing prompt and accurate feedback on the condition, health, and quality of care for the student.
- Make recommendations where appropriate for changes to care to promote wellness.
- Collaborate with campus principal, school counselor, teachers, parents, medical team and other staff as required.
- Educate faculty and staff as needed on health-related topics as directed by the school nurse or medical advisory team.
Qualifications
- BLS Card
- Bachelor's Degree From An Accredited University (BSN required)
- PHN or CRN
- Reliable
- IEP's & 504's
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written
- Reliable works habits and professionalism
