Are you passionate about supporting students with behavioral needs in their efforts to succeed in a school setting? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Instructional or Behavioral Paraeducator to work with Corona Norco USD for the ‘25-’26 school year!
You will be instrumental in creating a positive and productive learning environment, working with students from pre-K to high school. In this role, you will provide support in either a 1:1 or general classroom capacity.

Behavioral Class Aide Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 / hr

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Providing supporting either in a 1:1 or general capacity:
1:1 Support: You will be assigned to a specific student, accompanying them to various classes throughout the day. Your primary goal will be to provide continuous behavioral and educational support, helping your student stay on task and achieve their goals
General Classroom Support: You will work directly with a teacher, assisting with the needs of multiple students within a single classroom. This role is dynamic, and your tasks will vary daily, providing support wherever it is most needed
Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults
Remaining active throughout the day, which requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods, and the potential to frequently bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds
Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
Potential toileting assistance
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Passion for supporting students in their academic growth and development
Strong assessment skills
Inclination to work well in a team setting
Experience working with children
Ability to provide behavioral management
CPR Certification
Associate's degree or at least 48 completed semester units (required for Instructional Paraeducator)
Experience utilizing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) treatment (required for Behavioral Class Aide)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a school setting
Experience working with children on the autism spectrum or with special needs
