Overview:
Specialty: School Health, Pediatrics, Special Education
Location: Northern Orange County
Position: Full-time (30+hrs), then Part Time (Under 30 hrs) during summer
Shift: May vary, approximately school hours, anywhere between 7:00am-4:00pm.
Days: Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends
Target Start Date: 05/20/25
**This position will begin before the end of the school year and extend through the end of June**
Responsibilities:
Working 1:1 with a patient who has a tracheostomy, seizure monitoring, and wheelchair care
Provide client care according to the approved Plan of Care
Assist in providing a safe environment for the patient
Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements
Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Qualifications:
CA State Nursing License (LVN or RN)
Trach/Vent Experience Required
CPR/BLS Certification
Current Negative TB result
