CNA – Yuma VA

Ro Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team at a Veterans Home in Arizona! This role focuses on creating a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment while delivering efficient, resident-centered care.

Details:

• 6pm-6:30am
• part-time/per diem

Qualifications:

• at least 6 months of CNA experience is required but 1 year is preferred.
• prior experience in a nursing home or long-term facility is a plus!
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• COVID vaccination.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality care in a healthcare setting.
• Willingness to learn and apply management systems such as AMS.
• Passion for delivering compassionate, resident-focused care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Transferring and positioning residents using proper techniques and equipment (e.g., Hoyer lifts).
• Feeding residents and monitoring nutritional intake.
• Taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration).
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions to nurses.
• Assisting with mobility and range-of-motion exercises.
• Maintaining cleanliness in residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to veterans.
• Documenting care and following facility policies and procedures.
