Mental Health Monitor/Sitter – Maricopa Corrections

Ro Health is seeking a Mental Health Monitor/Sitter dedicated to joining our healthcare team at an adult jail in Arizona! This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated youth, ensuring a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Schedule: 3 days, 12-hour shifts
• Shift: AM or PM
• Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months of performing clerical or support services in a medical setting
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid TB Test for the last year
• MMR vaccines
• Ability to pass a strict background check and fingerprint clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitors patients on suicide watch, in therapeutic restraints, or otherwise at-risk of self-harm or danger to others.
• Monitor the health status of patients and respond promptly to medical needs or emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health providers, and facility staff
•  Performs visual or video monitoring for patients and reports findings and observations to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records per facility guidelines
• Foster a compassionate and structured environment for adults in custody
